# I already have a website. I bought this one anyway.

This is my LinkedIn without the LinkedIn. Same jobs, one markdown file, notes in red pen.

Engineering at Brickroad. Founder of LAB46. Before that: Commit, Adeptmind, IBM, Qualcomm, AMD.

## The companies got smaller. The job got bigger.

Big companies first. Then two startups, where I ran the team. Now Brickroad by day and LAB46 by night.

## Started at companies with lanyards.

I wrote code at IBM, Qualcomm, and AMD. Big codebases, long builds, and a badge for every door.

## Then I ran the team instead.

At Adeptmind I ran engineering: hiring, reviews, the release process, and a talk series where engineers taught engineers.

At Commit I took over the internal software team and led the launch of the Commit Platform.

## Shipped an agent you can call.

- **Brickroad**, Engineering

At Brickroad I led the work that opened the information frontier agent to every user as an API. The agent does the research. Your code asks the questions.

## Runs a company with no employees.

- **LAB46**, Founder

LAB46 is where my side projects live: Task Reminder for Slack teams, Clipshine, a URL redirector, and a few retired experiments. The servers are on the org chart.

## I own more domains than websites.

phongt.com was enough. Then phong.md was available.
23 owned. 4 with a website. The numbers are made up. The trend is not.

## It all fits in one markdown file.
